About

Aerial Restorative Workshop combines traditional restorative yoga with aerial hammocks. Come and experience deep relaxation, gentle stretches, and supported poses. It will enhance flexibility, reduce stress, and foster a sense of weightlessness. It will create a serene and uplifting experience. Join and discover the therapeutic benefits of aerial restorative practice.

No previous aerial yoga experience is required. 

During this workshop, you will get familiar with the apparatus used in Aerial Yoga, and learn how to safely move in the hammock, doing basic poses and modifications, all at a slower pace than in a regular class. The benefits of Aerial Yoga will be discussed in this workshop.

Aerial Yoga is a total body workout with amazing psychological benefits in addition to improving flexibility while being easy on the joints and decompressing the spine, strengthening the core and upper body muscles, and giving you a renewed perspective on your overall wellness approach.

Pre-registration is required and, in most cases, this workshop is a pre-requisite for joining a regular Aerial Yoga class.

 

Also, here are a few tips for your first visit.

  • Leave the jewels at home—bracelets, earrings, necklaces, watches, and even zippers are at risk of getting hung up in the fabric.
  • Arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time so we will have time to match you up to the hammock that best suits your height. Otherwise, you may get stuck with a hammock that is too high or too low.
  • Wear long pants that aren’t too baggy and a shirt with sleeves. The fabric can feel a little harsh on your skin until you become more used to it.
