The event is free for Utsav Members and their families. Due to limited seating available, kindly confirm your presence at the earliest.

Admission to the event is free, but attendees are free to contribute to the artist and venue through a donation box.

About Avinash

Dr. Avinash Kumar is an upcoming vocalist of the country. He received his initial training in classical music from Smt. Sadhna Chatterjee and Shri Purnochandra Chatterjee, and later received advanced training from Ustad Aftab Ahmed Khan of Rampur Sahaswan Gharana. Currently he is learning from Pt. Tushar Dutt of Agra and Kirana Gharana and Pt. Somnath Mardur of Kirana Gharana.

A Gold Medalist in Masters Degree in Hindustani Classical Vocal from Delhi University, he pursued his M.Phil. and Ph.D from DU. He is also a recipient of UGC Junior and Senior Research Fellowship and has been honoured with various awards like Tushar Pandit Memorial Gold Medal (2012), Prof. V. Bani Ram Medal (2012), Prof. Sumati Mutatkar (2010), etc. He has performed in many prestigious festivals in India and abroad.
