Leveraging Yogic Energy Principle in Daily Life
5th Jul 2021 | Author - JeetYoga believes everything in the universe is energy whether manifested or unmanifested energy and it provides tools and techniques to us to align individual energies to the cosmic energy and increase the flow of energy within and through us.
The Yogic concept aligns with the scientific law of energy at a high level, The first law also known as Law of Conservation of Energy, states that energy cannot be created or destroyed in an isolated system, though it can change form and travel from one state to another.
Concept of Entropy is central to the second and third laws of thermodynamics. In layman's terms entropy of an object can be defined as the measurable physical properties, such as bulk mass, volume, pressure, and temperature. The Greek root of the word “entropy'' translates to “a turning towards transformation” — with that transformation being chaos.
All things trend toward disorder. More specifically, the second law of thermodynamics states that “as one goes forward in time, the net entropy (degree of disorder) of any isolated or closed system will always increase (or at least stay the same).
Entropy is simply a measure of disorder and affects all aspects of our daily lives. In fact, you can think of it as nature’s tax .Left unchecked disorder increases over time. Energy disperses, and systems dissolve into chaos. Just as energy tends towards a less useful, more disordered state, so do individuals, businesses and organizations in general. Rearranging the molecules — or business systems and people — into an “ordered” state requires an injection of outside energy.
Yoga provides techniques not just to condition our bodies but more importantly it gradually helps us to keep our energy in an elevated stage, Yoga is a holistic wellbeing science and it believes that wellbeing of a individual is closely related to how one feels internally and the energy one emits or absorbs is also a factor of how one feels within us. Yoga also believes in breathing being the life force and provides pranayams to regulate this lifeforce.
Ultimate goal of Yoga is samadhi when one is completely connected with the cosmic consciousness and is one of the key ways to recharge the body's entropy and as one progresses on the path of meditation, one's requirement of sleep and external energy also reduces significantly.
Apart from practice of Yoga and Meditation on a daily basis, here are few more tips for us to manage our entropy:
- Spend time doing activities which heighten your energy levels like hobbies, joyful activities like dancing, music etc.
- Spending time with your loved ones enhances our energy levels so we should try to spend time with our loved ones.
- Try to spend more time with nature as we are also part of the same nature and we would feel a certain level of unity and harmony in a natural environment.
- Walk barefoot on earth to let the energy of earth flow more clearly to our body.
